Although the majority of conference events are held to convey positive information, sometimes the message could be one of poor performance or downsizing. It is therefore imperative to identify the client objective for the event before embarking on a set design that could be far too lavish for the event. At delighted eye we look to design the most impressive backdrop possible for the project brief and within the technical parameters of the venue. This then becomes the focal point for the audience, and also a platform that reflects the credibility of the presenters. Each design is initially visualised, either by computer or by an airbrush artist, and then technical plans are drawn up. The other major elements of any live event; sound, lighting, projection and graphics are given just as much attention and technical site visits are made by key crew personnel to ensure that the equipment specification and the positioning of these adds to the overall event.
